Dartmoor Saturday Services starting 3rd April 2010

The popular route 271 "Haytor Hoppa" will start again, along with the "Transmoor Link" route 82 from Moretonhampstead to Yelverton. Both services will use cheap day tickets so make the most of your Weekends and get out onto the Moors!

Changes to Services starting 24th May 2010

Route "74" - Our routes 174 and 76 are to be merged and extended to provide a service running from The Willows in Torquay to Trago Mills. We hope this route will prove a success as it provides a connection from Kingskerswell and Aller into Torquay which does not currently exist.

Routes "184" & "185" - Our route 184 will be changing to provide a better service through Bishopsteignton and also a new direct service to Newton Abbot (the 185) will be introduced.

Uploaded our new website. I have taken the liberty of including some photos I spotted on Flickr which I thought were much better than those taken at our depot since they show the buses in their natural environment!

We will be starting two new services soon! The 672 Buckland-in-the-Moor to Newton Abbot (Wednesdays only) starting on 8th July, and the 893 Holne to Ashburton (Fridays only) starting on 10th July.

Our service 177 will start running connecting trips to the 91 Totnes - Plymouth service. These will run on Saturdays and during school holidays only, providing a guaranteed connection (it will be the same bus!).

28th May 2009

From 30th May we will be operating two new Saturday services in conjunction with Dartmoor National Park Authority - the 271 "Haytor Hoppa" and the 82 "Transmoor Link", and also increasing the frequency of our existing 178 service between Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead to provide connections between the two.

20th May 2009

Starting from 26th May some of our existing routes will be changing, and we are starting several new routes!

We take over operation of routes 91 (Totnes to Plymouth), 179 (Okehampton to Moretonhampstead), and 889 (Cornworthy to King Edward VI school in Totnes).

The 75 will no longer use Newtake Rise, instead it will keep on St Marychurch Road, turning left into Twickenham Road. It will also depart Sainsbury's Penn Inn three minutes earlier to allow for traffic congestion.

Routes 15 and 16 - Brixham Town services - will be operated on a commercial basis. The timetable will be altered to allow for operation of route 14 from Brixham Community College to Roselands. This will bring the benefit of an earlier journey into town, though there will be a break during the afternoon in school terms.
